Whelan's Night - February 11th, 2010

Join us on the spookiest night of the year as we mark the 141st anniversary of the execution of Patrick James Whelan for the assassination of Thomas D’Arcy McGee. Was the wrong man executed for the crime?  What signs are there that his spirit may still roam the haunted hallways of the jail? This special 60 minute version of our Ghosts and the Gallows will take place entirely within the confines of the old Carleton County Jail, now the Ottawa Jail Hostel. This tour is not for the faint of heart!
